Chris Hill, who has been an essential member of LGH for over a year, has been appointed as the new Head of Sales for the UK, effective May 1, 2025. With a strong understanding of LGH’s products, customers, and industries, Chris is well-prepared to take on this new role. He brings fresh ideas that will enhance LGH's capabilities in the UK and support our customers.
Chris has over 10 years of experience in the lifting equipment hire industry. He began his career as a sales executive with rental companies including Andrew Sykes Group plc and HSS Hire. This background has provided him with a solid foundation, particularly in managing key accounts, which will serve him well in his new role.
Reporting directly to Don Wilkinson, Sales Director LGH & LGH Winches, Chris will be responsible for the growth of the UK market and strategic fulfilment through the UK Sales team, as well managing the UK wide sales team and roll-out of the strategy. “We want to focus on strengthening our presence in the UK and expanding our expertise within the equipment hire sector,” says Chris Hill. It is essential to understand our customers' needs and to meet or exceed their expectations.

In my new role, I will concentrate on developing our sales efforts and proposing investments for additional products and services across our active sectors, including construction, infrastructure, petrochemicals, and offshore.”
